The One Percent Solution is a simple and practical solution to end our housing crisis and homelessness disaster.

In the mid-1990's, federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments spent about one percent of their overall budgets on housing. The One Percent Solution calls on governments to double that spending to fund a comprehensive national housing strategy.

This represents $2 billion annually from the federal government, with a combined matching $2 billion annually from the provinces and territories.
